Finding and Connecting with Your Audience
I recently had the pleasure of offering a talk at Spectrum, the annual meeting of the Community Service and Public Relations Council (CSPRC). CSPRC is the premier local resource for nonprofit professionals working in communications, and I have enjoyed being a part of the organization for many years.
Although I've been attending Spectrum for a while, this was my first time presenting at the conference, and I think it went okay! My talk was titled From Research to Results: Finding and Connecting with Your Audience.
I walked the attendees through three steps:
- Defining where you are now
- Target audiences & research
- Translating communications to impact

If you have any questions about this talk, getting involved with CSPRC, audience research, creating a dashboard to represent your communications ROI, or where I source my hilarious Dilbert cartoons, please don't hesitate to be in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
